Fly Cheap! Guide To Travel Tuesday Deals 2018
Most of the Black Friday offers have expired. But just around the corner was Cyber Monday that brought another avalanche of great travel deals. Today, it’s Tuesday and now it has been hailed as Travel Tuesday. Are we getting ripped off with a neverending list of deals?
Not really. Travel Tuesday is a great campaign and if you use the offers wisely, you could really save big time on flights. When you compare this campaign to Black Friday, then one of the biggest differences is its relatively young age. That “deal day” hasn’t been around for a long time. It all started with the hashtag #TravelTuesday used on Instagram and Twitter. That hashtag had trended on social media for years, but it was in 2017 when bigger media outlets picked it up and #TravelTuesday was turned into a way to market hot travel offers. In this case, Travel Tuesday stands for the deals, whereas #TravelTuesday is used as a year-round hashtag to help people find inspirational travel content.
Note that most of the Travel Tuesday offers are actually Cyber Monday deals that don’t expire until Wednesday’s over.
